Welcome.zip - The Welcome
disc for the original 1987 Archimedes machines, running the
Arthur operating system. The entry level A305 (512KB RAM)
model and the A310 (1MB RAM) had no hard drive. The A440 had
a 20MB unit. 'Second generation' systems, called
A420/1 and A440/1, had 20MB and 40MB respectively. There is also a disc image of this disc; it's an 800KB floppy. Emulators should know what it is. |

redesigned icon and desktop furniture kit. There are also two disc images of this disc; one is just Acorn's, the other branded by TDK. |

Universal Boot. This is the Last Release of
the RISC OS 3 boot structure. I've chopped it into two bits, called
SmallUni.zip and SmalUni2.zip, so
it should fit on 1.44MB floppy. This ought to make transfer to older machines
